We’re helping to create financial empowerment for everyone
Our vision is to give someone with $5 and someone with $5 million the same investment opportunities.
Share in the opportunity
Sharesies exists to make investing easy and accessible. Before, investing was too hard, too complex, and too damned scary for too many. Deciding to build an accessible digital investment platform was a no-brainer.
Our investing experience aims to give people the confidence and control to invest. We believe that by giving someone the opportunity to invest—while supporting them to learn—we’ll create a community of financially empowered people.
Now, over 700,000 investors are using the Sharesies platform in Australia and NZ. We’re continuing to break down the barriers to investing for more Australians, and create new ways to help people develop their wealth.

Why the pineapple?
The pineapple is arguably the crown jewel of the fruit world. Favouring the long term, it takes 2-3 years for the spikey wonder to bear fruit. An admirable growth strategy, if you ask us.
It has a rich history of symbolism. In 17th and 18th century Europe, the pineapple became a status symbol of wealth, flaunted by the few who could afford such extravagance. But once in the hands of the masses, it told a new story of democracy.
In the Americas, sailors would place a pineapple outside their doorway as a sign of safe return, becoming a symbol of hospitality. The Hokkien word for pineapple is ong lai, which sounds like the phrase meaning ‘incoming fortune’.
And now, as always, the pineapple is a fruit best shared with others.
Though symbolism can be adopted, it’s also earned. Our logo will be defined by our actions, adding a new chapter to the long history of the pineapple. A symbol for sharing the knowledge, sharing the opportunity, and sharing the love.
